Summary
Fall is a glorious time of the year. School is back in session, friendships are being renewed, and new friends being made. There
is also the Fairfield County Fair during the last full week of September.
The Shampoo High School provides many volunteers to help where ever needed by the Fair Committee. This year, they have been asked
to provide people to take tickets at the gate. Entrance charges are $5.00 per person so there is lots of money involved. This
year the receipts may be even higher, because as one of the featured events, the State has agreed to have the Greased
Pig Catching Championship at the Fair. There are 75 contestants who are here for the 14 inch trophy and $300.00 1st place award.
On Thursday, the gate receipts seem to be a little low. Friday was only slightly better, and this was the day that the Lions Club
Marching Lawn Mower team had performed! Something is certainly wrong!!
The County Marshall has been asked to look into what appears to be a theft of Fair money. However, because the reputation of Shampoo
High is at stake, as students of the school, you decide that you need to move faster than the Marshall seems to move. This reflects
on the whole school and there are those who say you are smarter than the Marshall.

Fall is a glorious time of the year. School is
back in session, friendships are being renewed and new friends being
made.
Each year there is a County Fair in Fairfield County, Nebraska (which
includes Niceley, Nebraska). It is during the last full week of September.
The Shampoo High School provides many volunteers to help where ever
needed by the Fair Committee. This year, they have been asked to provide
people to take tickets at the gate.
The Fair runs from Thursday through Sunday and many volunteers are needed.
The Committee expects between 20,000 and 30,000 people to attend the
Fair. It is one of the 10 major events in Niceley and the school is
pleased to be able to take an active part.
Entrance charges are $5.00 per person so there is lots of money involved!
This year the receipts may be even higher. As one of the featured events
at the Fair, the State has agreed to have the Greased Pig Catching Championship
at the Fair. There are 75 contestants who have qualified throughout
the state. They will be here with all their friends and parents, mates,
and families. There will be a 14 inch trophy for first place and a $300.00
1st place award.
On Thursday, the gate receipts seem to be a little low. $1352.36 was
the total! And this was the night that Darbey Dill and Her Harmonica
Band performed. This total included 69 people from the Retirement Home
at $3.00 each. The Bingo concession alone, took in $267.03 (15% of the
gross Bingo card sales).
Friday was only slightly better, with only $1564.64 turned in. And this
was the day that the Lions Club Marching Lawn Mower team had performed!
Something is certainly wrong!! There was also a concert by the Blue
Goose Group (Hip-Hop music), The Shampoo Dance Team, and a breakfast
sponsored by the Shampoo Football team.
The money is moved from the ticket gate to the Fair office two or three
times a day. This is done by two students who take the money in a bank
bag. The money is not counted until it gets to the office.
The County Marshall has been asked to look into what appears to be a
theft of Fair money. However, because the reputation of Shampoo High
is at stake, as students of the school, you decide that you need to
move faster than the Marshall seems to move. This reflects on the whole
school and there are those who say you are smarter than the Marshall.
Good luck. |

High Girl Mysteries
Shampoo High Girls at Camp Run-a-Muck
We purchased Shampoo High Girls at Camp Run-a-Muck last year and
enjoyed it. We're looking forward to another Shampoo High Mystery.
K.S.
A few years back I wanted a mystery party for my birthday. Like many
others, I wanted a clean one and couldn't find it. I also wanted an
"all girls" party if possible. After finding your site, I decided on
Shampoo High Girls at Camp Run-a-Muck. It was a BLAST! We had a "registration
table", where everyone got their name tags, schedule, and a "Survival
Kit" (canvas goody bag w/water bottle, granola bar, whistle, etc.).
We decorated our kitchen as a cafeteria, and put each "cabin" in a different
corner of the room. Because of this, a good deal of rivalry broke out
between cabin members!
It rained the day of the party, but it just made the camp theme all
the better. By the way, I'm looking forward to getting Shampoo High's
sequel!
S.K.
We bought this game for our daughter's birthday last year and would
like to order another game for this year. The girls would not stop playing
the game and asking each other questions for almost 3 hours. It was
a howling success. What would you suggest for this year?

Shampoo High Girls at the Fair
I just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed the mystery
game....I had 10 girls (11 years old). I sat with them and helped them
with questions and moved things along when they didn't know what to
ask next....They especially enjoyed the ending about what each character
ended up doing.

I had a mystery party for my 13th birthday...and we played the Shampoo
High Girls at the Fair. We had a blast! Thanks.
K.
I ended up ordering the other Shampoo girls game. The girls decided
that looked the best, and because we had such a great success with the
first one, we thought it was better to stick with what you know. Maybe
next year we will try the Lucky Pooch Choker
one.
